Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was a premier exhibitor at the LPS Shanghai show in Shanghai, China on December 7th-9th, 2018. They were joined by over 11,000 visitors and more than 200 luxury real estate companies from 45 different countries. The event is an invite-only show for well-qualified buyers, investors and VIP’s interested in luxury real estate around the world.
Being a part of this event puts BHHS and all of its network franchises into a prestigious category in the real estate industry. There were seven BHHS network franchise representatives that greeted attendees and discussed real estate opportunities in each of their respective markets, spreading the word about the global success of this company.
What does this mean for us?
The more global we are as a network, the better results we can provide for our clients in our marketing efforts. At Homesale, we already have a substantial international reach, but we need to continually expand our endeavors in order to stay a leader in the industry.
For a luxury certified agent, these ongoing exposure opportunities could be key to your success as well. Anyone moving to the United States could potentially be swayed by a company name they recognize as one that promotes prestige and excellence.
At the beginning of November, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices expanded their international reach to include a partnership with London-based real estate office, Kay & Co. This is the company’s second European franchise after partnering with Rubina Real Estate in Berlin, earlier this year.
Berkshire Hathaway has stated that they hope to add more offices in Milan, Vienna and Dubai before the end of 2018. The company is also in apparent talks with prospective partners in Paris and Madrid as well as looking at a possible reach into Mexico City, Hong Kong and Tokyo, according to Gino Belfari, President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
What does this mean for Homesale?
As a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty agent, this means that your listings will go global. As more and more international partnerships are created, Berkshire Hathaway affiliates could receive more traffic. This incentive can be used to persuade clients who aren’t sure what agency to choose. At Homesale, we already have a substantial international reach, as can be seen below in the November Market & Tech Stat, but with more Berkshire Hathaway offices popping up, our reach could increase drastically.
